Silentium USA: It’s Official
Things couldn’t be off to a better start this year. As the SAI Blog has touched on before, one of Shively Acoustics International’s (SAI) closest partners is automotive software supplier Silentium, an industry relationship that now stretches back more than a decade. SAI’s role has been to lead the efforts in promoting Silentium’s business on the North American market, helping to spread awareness and connect the company with automotive OEMs and suppliers. For a refresher, check this blog’s SAI Spotlight #1.

This presence on the continent has now gotten a big boost. Last month, Silentium USA, Inc. was created as a subsidiary of Silentium, Ltd. for engineering and business development support in North America. Plans are to locate a brick-and-mortar office in the Detroit metro area. We also are thrilled to announce that our very own Roger Shively will head this new North American entity! 🎉🎉🎉
As the supplier of ARNC software puts greater and greater focus on the North American market for expanding its brand and business, this new stateside entity establishes a foothold in the region for Silentium where the day-to-day work with manufacturers and suppliers can be carried out. Currently, Silentium is already anticipating a nomination from a Detroit-area OEM for use of the Silentium Active Noise Cancellation software with one of Silentium’s Tier One suppliers. Stay tuned for an official announcement! In the meantime, immediate plans for Silentium USA and Roger involve putting together a local engineering team.
Nothing will change at Shively Acoustics International. SAI will continue as usual and grow along with the development of this and our other partnerships. In fact, SAI is also headed to the Detroit area next month for consultations with past and future partners, big and small, that need automotive support. Next stop, Motor City!
